People's Behavior

This can be very striking to a lot of people. Why is it that most of us only give to the poor during Christmas? Some of us only go to church on Christmas. Some only give donations on Christmas. Some only think of the poor people and animals during Christmas. Why are people like this? If we could only be more caring and if we helped each other more, the world would never be a place where criminals steal and kill, where animals and plants become extinct, where people would do whatever it takes just for survival. People are not perfect, but if we could only change, even just one step at a time, the world would be a much better place.
